I always wondered why with all our scientific resources we have put so much R & D into these devices. But there is also another knock-on effect to this. We find ourselves in a situation where we need to teach the younger generation how to communicate face to face. Unfortunately in this fast pace world of speed texting and short slang it is our use of vocabulary which is suffering. Instead of people saying more they are saying less. How can a progressive society get it so wrong and go backwards? The next generation are tongue tied because they cannot express themselves eloquently.
