Closer than Close
Separation gradually crawled back into my awareness a couple of days after the dream, although I feel consciousness has grown in me somewhat, integration to permanent non separation may be weeks or years away, I don't really care I'm just enjoying the ride and living with no long term plans or agendas.
I found this film trailer some of you maybe interested in hunting down called closer than close about Enlightenment.
Synopsis by John Cain
Closer Than Close is a deftly crafted and poignant tale that weaves the stories of a handful of seekers bivouacked at various stages along the spiritual path with the straight-talk wisdom of three extraordinary individuals who have seemingly put an end to seeking. This juxtaposition creates a compelling resonance in which we can see (if the angle of light is just so) that the seekers and those that have stopped seeking are closer than we think. These are real stories of struggle and despair, friendship and hope, but above all, insight.

I AM every one and no one
I had a dream last night I would like to share with you.
I was with friends from past and present watching a tv monitor, huge geological disturbances were being reported all over The World and earthquakes were happening everywhere.
I watched as The Earth exploded around me, then all of a sudden my perception was watching the event from space.
Then I was alone in the void, no Earth, no stars, no Sun just blackness.
I realized that I was fine, my awareness was not changed in the slightest.
I thought I should try breathing, I didn't actually need to but I suppose it was habit. I couldn't breathe, I looked down and I was without form.
I awoke, I knew something major had occurred to my consciousness but needed a pee and then went back to sleep.
In the morning I awoke again and everything I looked at was me, the illusion of separation had almost totally gone, I laughed at my girlfriend who was getting ready for work and was thinking about trying to explain my laughter until I looked at the dog, my black lab was me, laughing continued.
I had glimpsed enlightenment before for a few seconds here and there but the dream had flicked a switch in my consciousness level and as I am writing this there is still no separation, I AM writing this for my self to read.

Friedrich Nietzsche Quotes
We should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once. And we should call every truth false which was not accompanied by at least one laugh.
Faith: not wanting to know what is true.
Is man one of God's blunders? Or is God one of man's blunders?
Talking much about oneself can also be a means to conceal oneself.
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you.
Whenever I climb I am followed by a dog called 'Ego'.

Satanism - Doubt and the search for Truth
Following my initial look into the left hand path I found the following on a Satanism Website.
We see things through self referential spectacles, we see only what we expect to see. We experience things according to our own wishes, this clouding of our vision by ourselves is problematic when it comes to the search for truth. We feel that without our glasses, our assumptions that make the world easy to understand, we will be blind but in reality we will see more clearly without them! We just need to train ourselves to doubt established truth, to see without our glasses, to see clearly even when in the dark.
"He that is slow to believe anything and everything is of great understanding, for belief in one false principle is the beginning of all unwisdom"The Satanic Bible, Book of Satan 2:7
Satan represents Doubt. God did not want Adam and Eve to eat of the Tree of Good and Evil. Allah did not want his creation to doubt his word. In both theologies, it was Satan, the most intelligent created being, who stood up against this enforced ignorance. Satan tells mankind: Search for knowledge, even in taboo places. Shaitan told the Djinn: Let us test God's word, let us not mindlessly believe all that God says. Although these myths are irrelevant to the modern world, the role of Satan is very much relevant to our lives and our search for knowledge. Enlightenment is the ability to look past stated truth and dogma, and Lucifer is the Crown Prince of Satan that represents our search for enlightenment.
Of those that are sure they are right, the scientists and the religionists, the scientists at least, as part of their rules of behavior, continuously test and refine their knowledge: Nothing is assumed to be true. Everything is tested, old theories are constantly re-tested whenever new knowledge comes to light. But religious fundamentalists and those who simply accept what is told to them, by a preacher or a book, these are unable to find truth or enlightenment. All they find is what they wanted: To feel sure that they're right, after all. To be safe in their knowledge. To be blissfully ignorant of doubt is an easy way out, a self failure. Satan and the curiosity and doubt he instils upon us is certainly the enemy of fundamentalism.
"Without the wonderful element of doubt, the doorway
through which truth passes would be tightly shut"
LaVeyHowever if this doubt leads to the failure of standard lies, and those lies have led to stability in society, who are we to remove that stability? If ignorance is bliss, who are we to condemn the ignorant to a life of unhappy enlightenment? How is this dangerous truth tamed?
"When the truth is dangerous, is it more worthwhile to hide the truth? If ignorance is bliss, and those of Orwell's 1984 are truly happy, how is it that we think truth should be revealed even when they make people unhappy? Truth isn't inherent in happiness and vica versa: Who is better, they who promote truth over happiness, or happiness over truth? The adoption of doubt as a central tenet causes the above questions to become mute.Widespread acceptance of doubt makes truth not dangerous. Orwell's dystopia cannot occur if the populace continually doubt what they are told, and people cannot be happy if they know that what they believe appears to be dubious, ignorance cannot lead to bliss if doubt reigns. Neither is truth dangerous if previous truths are continually questioned, such as in science. So who is better, they who promote truth, or happiness? Well those who promote doubt enlighten the path for both... so those who promote a particular truth, unless they also promote doubt, they are not doing good, because future truth then causes instability. Those who promote happiness, if they accidentally promote ignorance... they are also not doing good because truth then causes unhappiness. Only with an underlying theme of doubt can happiness be found."

The Book Of Lucifer
"The Roman god, Lucifer, was the bearer of light, the spirit of the air, the personification of enlightenment. In Christian mythology he became synonymous with evil, which was only to have been expected from a religion whose very existence is perpetuated by clouded definitions and bogus values! It is time to set the record straight. False moralisms and occult inaccuracies must be corrected. Entertaining though they might be, most stories and plays about Devil worship must be recognized as the obsolete absurdities they are.
The Enlightenment
From The Satanic BibleIt has been said that 'the truth will make men free'. The truth alone has never set anyone free. It is only doubt which will bring mental emancipation. Without the wonderful element of doubt, the doorway through which truth passes would be tightly shut.
...
For those who doubt supposed truths, this book is revelation. Then Lucifer will have risen. Now is the time for doubt! The bubble of falsehood is bursting and its sound is the roar of the world! ""We are told that on the night of the full moon of Wesak (the month of May in the Western calendar), the Buddha fixed his mind on the morning star as it was rising, and the moment of full enlightenment occurred.""Buddhism" by Clive Erricker p26

So is Lucifer the Enlightening principle of Freemasonry as well?
In truth it matters not.

Oneness in everyday experiences
The following is an excerpt from one of the free articles available on www.endless-satsang.com entitled What is Advaita or Nonduality?
What about your experience right now? Is it possible to discover this subtle oneness in ordinary experience? It is, if you set aside the expectation of a dramatic experience of oneness and explore the oneness a little bit at a time. Just as even a single drop of water is wet, you can experience oneness in even simple everyday experiences, since oneness is a fundamental quality of everything that exists.
As an experiment, just notice your fingers and the palm of your hand. Can you really say where one starts and the other ends, or are they one thing? To take this further, where does your hand stop and your forearm begin? Can you experience the oneness of your hand and your forearm?
If these are not separate, then what about all the other parts of your body? Are your feet and your ears really one even though they are so different? Now notice if there really is a separation between your thoughts and your head. Where does your head stop and something else called thought begin? What about feelings or desires? Are they really separate from you or your body?
Now, notice the simple sensations you are having: the sounds you are hearing, the sensations of touch, and the objects and events you are seeing. If you are seeing, something, where does the seeing stop and something else called the eye begin? If you are hearing sounds where does the sound start and the ear stop? Perhaps the hearing and the sound and your ear are all one thing. Yes, the ear is different from the sound, but in the act of hearing they become one thing.
Then, where does the source of the sound stop and the sound itself start? For example, if a bird is singing outside your window, where does the bird stop and the sound of its song begin? Or are they one thing? If the bird and its song are one thing, and your hearing and the song are really one thing, then is it possible that you and the bird are one thing also?
Advaita, or oneness of Being, has often been thought of as something hidden or difficult to experience, when it is quite ordinary and available in every moment. Of course a big experience of oneness, where you directly experience the oneness of everything, is a rare and dramatic event. But why wait for something so rare when this sweet and satisfying oneness is right here, right now?

Every Path leads to Oneness
Last week two Freemasons introduced themselves to me, they were independent of each other on different days and each proclaimed they were master masons to me without me inquiring on the subject at all.
I had some fun with the second mason on Friday, I gave him the handshake of the master mason followed by the true grip, halved the passwords and five pointed with him and began a conversation about tracing boards, we were in a public area so I said to him I knew he was taught to be cautious.
I then told him I was not a Freemason, never had been and the look on his face was a picture, horror mixed with overall disbelief. "But how do you know all the ritual and pass phrases?" he exclaimed in shock.
"Because I wanted to." I answered.
He had not completed any additional degrees apart from the blues so I asked him if he was interested about the secrets of the higher degrees.
He was only concerned if Freemasonry was Satanic in it's ultimate form beyond the blue degrees, his wife, a born again christian had told him it was and he was unable to argue against her because he just didn't know.
I had always thought freemasonry was ultimately worshiping Lucifer after reading The brotherhood by Stephen Knight and Albert Pike's Morals and Dogma, Magnum Opus as well as his letters to Mazzini of which an extract is here,
"That which we must say to the crowd is - we worship a God, but it is the God that one adores without superstition. To you, Sovereign Grand Inspectors General (of the 33rd degree), we say this, that you may repeat it to the brethren of the 32nd , 31st and 30th degrees - The Masonic Religion should be, by all of us initiates of the high degrees, maintained in the purity of the Luciferian doctrine."
This maybe part of the Taxil Hoax but there our quite a few other pointers.
THE STATUE OF LIBERTY
The Statue of Liberty in New York harbour was presented in 1884 as a gift from the French Grand Orient Temple Masons to the Masons of America in celebration of the centenary of the first Masonic Republic.
The Statue of Liberty's official title is, "Liberty Enlightening the World".
I knew Enlightenment was the goal of Freemasonry using allegory and ritual instead of deep meditation and introspection to get to the same ultimate truth.
Although rather biased with a Christian perspective this site is the best collection of proof that Freemasonry has it's roots in the worship of Lucifer, (Light-Bringer).
Hang on a minute though is that a good or bad thing?
We have been taught God is good and Lucifer is bad but all opposites are indeed the same in nature, just different aspects of the same inherent thing.
Luciferianism and Satanism are actually different methods of ego removal to realize oneness. It is referred to as the left hand path or Dark doctrine and although many types of Satanism are practiced the majority have realization of the self as the goal, the same as many other perhaps more "noble" paths.
There is no doubt Freemasonry is the invisible cornerstone in our society, the symbolism and therefore influence of Freemasonry is far reaching throughout the World , it's in our buildings, company logos even our street plans, most of the worlds powerful players are Masons or belong to similar fraternities of which there are many offshoots.
THE GREAT WORK IN SPECULATIVE FREEMASONRY
The Great Work or Magnum Opus is the goal of Freemasonry, but what is it exactly? This site has a great discussion article on the subject.
The discussion is summed up as such:
Our thought in this Paper has reached high ground, but we have laboured to be lucid in speaking of things exacting unwonted claims upon the normal understanding and that, although the subject of an abundant literature, have ever been expressed in terms of great restraint and concealment. The understanding of these things will be assisted by realising physical things to be in faithful correspondence with metaphysical, and that, as we advance from the one to the other, we employ in turn the self-blinded eye of sense, the closed eye of faith, and the opened eye of the soul. At the beginning of the Quest the aspirant is conscious only of things of the physical order. Let him, however, commit himself, with bandaged eyes, to his instinct in the possibility of a great self-transfiguration, believing that "My covenant is with your flesh," and at the end of it, as with John, the spiritual seer, the hoodwink is removed and faith passes into sight. His eyes "see" the salvation prepared before the face of all people, but hidden from them by a passing blindness, and he can testify that in very deed "the tabernacle of God is with men," and not elsewhere. We will conclude with a quotation from Plotinus which may serve to illustrate the position of this Study Circle in relation to our Brethren of the Craft:-
"If we speak and write, it is but as guides to those who long to see: we send them to the place itself, bidding them from words to the Vision: the teaching is of the Path and the Plan, seeing is the work of each Soul for itself."
(Plotinus-Ennead VI, 9.4. tr. Stephen McKenna.)
So the Great Work is Spiritual Enlightenment, what else could it really be!
The next question is are they trying to wake us all up to our true nature but we just can't see it yet or is it something more sinister?
My gut reaction is that they are trying to awaken us via the Left Hand Path which by it's nature manifests as negative form, still bringing us to enlightenment but almost dragging us by our coat tails against the flow until we surrender to the infinite and engage the flow.
Another way of putting it is to fill the world with such hatred, anger, greed, jealousy and separation that we fight it with all our hearts until we either die or give in to it.
Surrender is the key to enlightenment, is the plan to make The Earth so terrible to live on we just don't care anymore (Cremation of Care, Bohemian Grove) and surrender to our infinite oneness?
