Many of us cling to the idea that we’re somebody. We seek the comfort of name and fame. This identity seems to keep us alive.
As long as we feel we’re a separate entity, a unique individual, we’ll want to hold on to that distinction. We’ll want to find a distinct place. We believe that we are something special and superior to others. But let us be very clear here. We are all of the same energy. Our differences are in form and matter not in energy and substance.
With this idea of separation from others we run into resistance with our inner self. We resist our own self.
This happens everywhere. There is no exception to this rule. It’ll happen wherever we begin to cling to the idea that we’re somebody. It can happen at home or office or workplace or office or industry. It’s sure to happen.
If we disappear into the collective consciousness, we’ll be protected again and again. We’ll be taken care of. We’ll attain complete success in all spheres. We’ll attain success beyond the social and economic spheres. We’ll experience it as fulfilment. This feeling is inexplicable. When we feel separated we resist. When we resist we are in trouble.
A small story: A man was told that his wife had fallen into the river. He had to jump into the water and save her. He immediately jumps into the water. To the astonishment of onlookers, he starts swimming against the current. One person asked him, “Hey, why are you swimming against the current?” The man replied, “You guys don’t know my wife. Even if she falls in the river, she’ll float against the current. She resists everything so much. I’m sure that she’ll try to resist the current.”
So long as we resist, as long as we don’t disappear into the collective consciousness, we’ll be endlessly creating hell, not only for ourselves, but also for those around us. This is the truth. This truth operates whether it is our workplace or our house or our company or any other place.
This same teaching is contained in Taoism, the ancient Chinese philosophy. Tao is all about flow; it’s about flowing with nature. Water’s the greatest illustration of such natural flow. It just flows about the landline, around obstacles, in a smooth and energetic fashion.
Tao talks about the reeds in water that bend with strong water flow and straighten up when the flow is weaker. That can only happen when we don’t imagine ourselves to be different from our environment. Be one with the nature. Merge with it completely.

Depression-Gateway to Enlightenment
Many spiritual searchers have only seen their true nature after a bout of serious depression.
Eckhart Tolle and Jeff Foster are two teachers that spring to mind. I myself had a short but strong bout just before I awakened, it seems the depression is in the ego and can help subdue the ego in order for your true nature to shine through.
It seems these days if you feel depressed you run to the doctors for some anti-depressants to paint over your depression.
Maybe the depression spreading across the world is part of the awakening process, stop taking the pills and engage in the moment because after awakening I guarantee you will no longer need any pills, if you start feeling depression coming on again you are not conscious and that is enough to bring you back to being conscious.

Oneness in the Bible
68. Jesus said: one who knows everything else but who does not know himself know nothing.
81. Jesus said: whoever has become rich should rule. Whoever has power should renounce it.
108. Jesus said: He who drunk from my mouth will become like I am, and I will become he. And the hidden things will be revealed to him.
13. …Jesus said to Thomas: I am not your teacher; you have drunk from and become intoxicated from the bubbling water that I poured out…
106. Jesus said: When you make the two into one, you will be called sons of men.”
22.b …Jesus responded: when you make the two into one, and then when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the upper like the lower, and thus make the male and the female the same, so that the male isn’t male and the female isn’t female. When you make an eye replace an eye, and a hand to replace a hand, and a foot to replace a foot, and an image to replace an image, then you will enter the Kingdom.
61. Therefore I say that if one is unified, one will be filled with light, but if one is divided one will be filled with darkness.
76b. You too should seek for long-lasting treasures that do not decay, where moths do not come to eat them or grubs to destroy them.
91. They said to him: Tell us who you are so that we can believe you. He replied: You analyze the appearance of the sky and the Earth, but you don’t recognize what is right in front of you, and you don’t know the nature of the present moment.
All the above from the gospel of Thomas, he sounds more like a Buddhist to me!
Jesus says, "I and my Father are one", (John 10:30).
"This is eternal life... That they all may be one: as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us... that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one... that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them and I in them." (John 17:3, 21, 23,26).
"Christ is all, and in all." (Colossian 3:11).
"There is only one universal and cosmic body: The body of Christ." (Ephesians 1:10, 4:4).
"I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one... that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them and I in them."(John 17: 23,26).
"know the love of Christ, which passes knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God," (Ephesians 3:19).
"You are completed in Christ as a bride with a husband. Through Christ you are filled with all the fullness of the godhead bodily. Christ is all and in all, that God may be all in all." (Colossians 3:11, 1 Corinthians 15:28)
"He that is joined to the Lord is one Spirit." (1 Corinthians 6:17)
"The Christ is the light that lightens every man."(John 1:9).
"God is in Christ and Christ is in everyone and everything, for Christ fills all things." (Ephesians 4:10).
"One God and Father of all who is above all, and through all." (4:6).
"we have many members in one body... so we being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another."(Romans 12:4-5).
"body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all - for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere." (Ephesians 1:23).

Annie Besant-Materialism Undermined by Science
In a lecture delivered in 1895 in Culcutta Annie Besant stated:
"A man who is a spiritual man--a religious teacher--regards the universe from the standpoint of the Spirit from which everything is seen as coming from the One. When he stands, as it were, in the centre, and he looks from the centre to the circumference, he stands at the point whence the force proceeds, and he judges of the force from that point of radiation and he sees it as one in its multitudinous workings, and knows the force is One; he sees it in its many divergencies, and he recognises it as one and the same thing throughout. Standing in the centre, in the Spirit, and looking outwards to the universe, he judges everything from the standpoint of the Divine Unity and sees every separate phenomenon, not as separate from the One but as the external expression of the one and the only Life. But science looks at the thing from the surface. It goes to the circumference of the universe and it sees a multiplicity of phenomena. It studies these separated things and studies them one by one. It takes up a manifestation and judges it; it judges it apart; it looks at the many, not at the One; it looks at the diversity, not at the Unity, and sees everything from outside and not from within: it sees the external difference and the superficial portion while it sees not the One from which every thing proceeds. You may imagine, to take a figure, that you stand where there is a white light--say an electric light sending out rays from a single point; imagine three tubes going out from this centre and rays of light traveling down each and passing through a glass of a different colour set in each tube; if you look from the point where the electric light is you would see the white light striking outward as a light which was one; but if you went to the far end of the tubes you would there see that the light was of three different colours, as red and blue and yellow, appearing as if the light was of three kinds not one, because in their separation unity would be entirely lost. See how that works in the Universe. You have your three great gunas or attributes through which, as it were, the light comes as through three different glasses, and the one Divine Spirit comes down into manifestation; and it is not only the three gunas that you have but these intermingling one with another, and breaking in a thousand different channels. Then how great must be the differences at the circumference! But how it would lessen the difficulty if men could only see the processes, and know how those results were brought about; if they went further, and if traveling onward they found the divergences greatly diminish, see then how thus going forward, they may come, as it were, near to the one, and reconciliation between Religion and Science may arise. Religion shows everything from the point of the Spirit and proclaims the unity. Scientists show everything from the point of view of diversity and proclaim that, as if in opposition, to the world. But Plato says of the man who can discern the one in the many, that that man he regards as a God; the work of the true spiritual teacher is to show the one under the multiplicity, to make man see the fact of unity underneath diversity, and as science goes forward she also may be used once more to help us, because in passing out of the physical into the super-physical and mental, she is going nearer to Unity."

The Mayan Calendar doesn't measure time. It measures the EVOLUTION of CONSCIOUSNESS
Ian Lungold came up with this theory some years ago, to me now it is not a theory but becoming a fact, he wrote
"The path to this moment leads us through the Galactic consciousness cycle that we are currently in to the Universal consciousness cycle that begins on February 10, 2011. In this 260 day period, Consciousness will be experiencing more and more of what it is NOT until the certainty sets in that we are indeed - NO THING!"
When you experience Spiritual awakening you first realise you are nothing in the void and then if you can maintain the connection you realise you are in fact everything in creation similtaneously.
Lungold felt the calendar ended Oct 28 2011 not the generally regarded Dec 21 2012, this is of no consequence really, what is of consequence is that..
"All of Consciousness has had one goal in its evolution, to discover what it is NOT.
Consciousness experiences the universe by comparison. The basic comparison is that the conscious is NOT whatever was experienced. For at least 100,000 years mankind has been pursuing the question, "Who am I?" Or, "Why am I here?" and "What am I doing?" That question has been used by the Church and State to bind people to some standard or another, to some identity or another, to one belief system or another. Consciousness is none of these things. There are only the considerations of Consciousness.
We are not our bodies, our minds, our jobs, cars, relationships, nor our reputations or even our aspirations. As the Mayan calendar clearly shows, Creation is speeding up and presenting more and more of itself in each moment. This means that more and more is possible to be experienced and compared by Consciousness"
Sounds a lot like Terrence Mckenna's Time wave zero Novelty theory to me which ended Dec 2012.
The Universe is waking itself up to it's true nature, as humanity we are part of this totally natural evolutionary cycle of conscious awakening. We have between 3 or 4 years to get with the plan, but relax, if you really want to see what your not you will otherwise back around you will go.

Einstein
"A human being is a part of a whole, called by us 'universe,' a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest... a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty." ~ Albert Einstein

Apocalypse
I was just looking at the track listings for the forth coming new Metallica album "Death Magnetic" and track 10 is called "My Apocalypse", this got me thinking that that is what I have been through during spiritual awakening.
I looked up the meaning of Apocalypse in Wikipedia
Apocalypse Greek: Ἀποκάλυψις Apokálypsis; "lifting of the veil"), is a term applied to the disclosure to certain privileged persons of something hidden from the majority of humankind. Today the term is often used to refer to the end of the world, which may be a shortening of the phrase apokalupsis eschaton which literally means "revelation at the end of the æon, or age".
Could it be 2012 or some point in the future is the lifting of the veil for all humanity?
When we all see what we really are, our true nature as the infinite itself.
The eye of providence.
The eye of providence or all seeing eye represents the eye of God watching over us according to Wikipedia.
This early eye above represents the Grand Architect of the universe, the masonic God.
Another later version from the Freemasons shows the eye above the compass and set square.
This most famous version taken from the dollar bill shows the eye above the uncompleted pyramid.
From my research I have come to understand that the ultimate goal of freemasonry is enlightenment, they do not use Zen or other eastern disciplines but allegory and ritual to come to the ultimate truth that we are in fact God.
The eye of providence is your eye once you awaken and the gap of knowledge between the capstone and the main pyramid is the difference between an enlightened person and non-enlightened person.
The Great Work "Magnum Opus" referred to by the masons as well as the Rosicrucians, Qabalah, Thelema, Hermetic tradition and Alchemy refers to spiritual enlightenment.
Spiritual Enlightenment is the Great Work of the ages, the set square and compass refer to the creation of form in the manifest world.
Ordo ab chao or order out of chaos, to order could mean to bring together, to make whole.
Maybe just maybe the goal of the freemasonry is to bring mankind together as a whole, make one again.
This is only a thought and I'm not convinced myself yet, maybe Freemasonry started out with good intention and got infiltrated by sinister forces or maybe it's all going to plan and the one world government is part of their plan to bring us all into oneness?
Hard to swallow I know but worth meditating on.

Let it Be
I've had to have a clear out of many of the conspiracy links as this is not where my attention is going since I have realised they are just stories in the movie.
Yes they are happening, let it be

I am
When I see I am nothing,
that is wisdom.
When I see I am everything,
that is love.
And between these two,
my life flows."
What we are looking for ... is what is looking"
When someone asks me who they are or what God is, I smile inside and whisper to the Light: "There you go again pretending."
Lao Tzu
A religious belief… is not a statement about Reality, but a hint, a clue about something that is a mystery, beyond the grasp of human thought. In short, a religious belief is only a finger pointing to the moon. Some religious people never get beyond the study of the finger. Others are engaged in sucking it. Others yet use the finger to gouge their eyes out. These are the bigots whom religion has made blind. Rare indeed is the religionist who is sufficiently detached from the finger to see what it is indicating— these are those who, having gone beyond belief, are taken for blasphemers. (One Minute Nonsense (1992), p.134)

Changing the World
"Wanting to reform the world without discovering one's true self is like trying to cover the world with leather to avoid the pain of walking on stones and thorns. It is much simpler to wear shoes."

Black Elk’s Vision of Oneness
Black Elk falls seriously ill when he is nine years old, and is confined to bed in his tipi. While lying there, he is approached by two men who come from the clouds, “headfirst, like arrows slanting down… Each [carrying] a long spear, and from the points of these a jagged lightning flashed.” These two Arrow Men hurry Black Elk to a small cloud which carries him into the sky. There he is greeted by a bay horse who tells him, “Behold me, my life history you shall see. Furthermore, behold them, those where the sun goes down, their lives’ history you shall see.” Black Elk later learns that the bay horse symbolizes Mother Earth, his guide for seeing into the future.
They are then joined by twelve black horses from the west, each wearing a necklace of buffalo hoofs, with swallows flying overhead; twelve white horses from the north wearing elk-tooth necklaces with white geese overhead; twelve sorrel horses from the east wearing horns [probably buffalo] with eagles flying overhead; and twelve buckskin horses from the south wearing horns [probably elk, with hawks overhead.] The bay horse then informs Black Elk that his grandfathers are having a council and these horses will take him there. As they start in procession to the council tipi, they are joined by millions of horses of every color which then transform into every animal imaginable. These animals then return to the four quarters of the earth.
Gift from the West Power. When Black Elk enters the cloud tipi, each of the grandfathers from the four directions bestows him with several gifts. The first to greet him is the Grandfather of the West. This grandfather gives him a cup of water and a bow and arrow, admonishing him to “Behold them, what I give you shall depend on, for you shall go against our enemies and you shall be a great warrior.” Grandfather then stands and runs toward the west, turning into a black horse as he goes. This black horse then becomes emaciated.
Gift from the North Power. Now, the Grandfather of the North stands and gives Black Elk an herb. When he holds it toward the sickly black horse, it becomes strong and fat once again. Grandfather of the North then tells Black Elk to “Behold mother earth, for you shall create a nation…you shall represent the wing [winged, or white goose] of the great giant [Wazia] that lives.” With this, Grandfather runs toward the north and becomes a white goose. Black Elk notes that this power of the north will enable him to make everyone cry as geese do when hardship, winter, is over. [Later in the vision, this same Grandfather gives Black Elk a brown cocoon and a red cocoon.]
Gift from the East Power. Next, Grandfather of the East gives Black Elk a peace pipe which has a spotted eagle outstretched on its stem, saying “Behold this, for with this you shall walk across the earth. Behold this, for with this whatever is sick on this earth you shall make well.”
Gift from the South Power. The fourth grandfather holds a stick which then begins to sprout leaves with birds singing in the new branches. “With this you shall brace yourself as a cane and thus your nation shall brace themselves with this as a cane and upon this cane you shall make a nation.” He tells Black Elk that the road from north to south, the red road for good spirits, is his nation. He also tells him that the black road (from east to west) of the Thunder beings will be his power to protect himself. In addition, Grandfather of the South tells Black Elk that these powers will be his for four generations, or approximately two hundred years.
Great Spirit Above. Now, Great Spirit Above (the fifth grandfather) stretches his hands out and becomes a spotted eagle, telling Black Elk “Behold them; they, the fowls of the universe, shall come to you. Things in the skies [stars] shall be like relatives. They shall take you across the earth with my power. Your grandfathers shall attack an enemy and be unable to destroy him, but you will have the power to destroy. You shall go with courage. This is all.”
The Sixth Grandfather. “Boy, take courage, you wanted my power on earth, so you shall know me. You shall have my power in going back to the earth. Your nation on earth shall have great difficulties. There you shall go. Behold me, for I will depart.” Black Elk watched this Grandfather leave the cloud tipi through the rainbow door. As he watched, this old man with white hair grew younger and younger, until he was Black Elk himself at nine years old.
Black Elk was unconscious for the twelve days during which he experienced this vision. In the remainder of the revelation, the Grandfathers repeated their offering of these same gifts a total of four times, but within a different context each time. Each of these presentations is quite complex and rich in Lakota symbolism. Virtually every word has a special meaning, and can be interpreted on many different levels.
Black Elk was shown the future, including the reservation period for his people, World War I and World War II. The Grandfathers warned Black Elk of a third World War, saying that there “will be a dispute all over the universe” and they gave him a powerful herb that “could destroy a nation.” [Black Elk referred to it as soldier weed, but it may also symbolize the Atomic bomb, as the Grandfathers instructed that he would be able to defend his people with it although it was extremely toxic to everything around.]
This Fourth Ascent, or the present generation, is the most exciting aspect of the prophecy. It is at this time that the Grandfathers showed Black Elk a beautiful future for the people of the world. Our current generation will begin an era of peace, for through the sacred Pipe “they shall have peace in everything.” The Grandfathers showed Black Elk that from the many nations, he would create One Nation -- “the continents of the world and the people shall stand as one.” The Grandfathers placed “the sacred stick into the center of the hoop” and told Black Elk that it would nurture and care for all people, and that through it humans would “communicate with our relatives – beast and bird – as one people.” Black Elk clarified that this stick was the cottonwood, the waga chun which is at the heart of the Sundance ceremony. This would seem to mean, then, that the Sun Dance will play a vital role in this transformation of human beings.
This era of peace and oneness is a part of virtually all indigenous prophecies, and this lends an added weight to Black Elk’s vision. His is not the only voice telling us that humans are preparing for a cosmogenesis. Mayan prophecies say that this will manifest by the year 2012. This cosmogenesis is a collective vision that has been given to many peoples, and we are extremely fortunate to be of the generation that will see this transformation of human beings into our higher selves. “Wolakota!”
