This is reference to the evolution of the species of Man to Superman.
Although I do think that we may be shocked if the next jump in evolution has a form that is quite different to that of current man.
There are, and have been many references to this in history. The comic-strip superheroes, all the way through to Heroes the 2007 TV series. Where some of mankind become super beings.
If this happens though, how would we recognize the new species? –After all their form will be different and obviously they will be far more intelligent.
And what if this has already happened in the past? What if they already live among us and control us for fear of being discovered and witch-hunted? –How would we ever know? Just a thought……
