Learn to be still to experience peace

A true sage's quietness is much more powerful than the words he speaks. Silence is the source of all language as words follow thoughts that come from the mind.

The mind sprouts from Consciousness, which in its pristine form is, but Brahmn or silence.

Rabindranath Tagore said: "The cure for all the illness of life is stored in the inner depth of life, the access to which becomes possible when we are alone... this peace is absurdly near, yet so distant." Children demonstrate this peaceful demeanour. They characterise the essence of peaceful living, by just being and not constantly straining to become.

The strain that we go through is due to the mind's inability to accept, 'what is' and its unwillingness to give up its sense of volition. The wise counsel of Bertrand Russell, "To be without some of the things you want is an indispensable part of happiness," reinforces the fact that 'wanting' is a never-ending characteristic of the mind.

Introversion changes the trend of thoughts and helps keep us in touch with the ever-present inner reality. In this silence, peace unfolds. It is for this reason that all scriptures accord a high value to silence. In this context, it is important to understand the difference between solitude and loneliness.

The fear of loneliness is something that seems to afflict most people. This comes from a fear of not being acknowledged and recognised.

The resulting sense of loss of identity while deceptive appears all too real. The villain here is the sense of individual volition. The mind becomes a willing victim and assiduously pursues all means to strengthen our individual identity.

I really like David Icke, he has done more than any man I know to wake people up to the secret Government, NWO, he has also spread the word about the true nature of reality during his videos, talks and in his books.
I synchronistically met him in the early 1990's, which I've talked about in a much earlier post and he was the one who really got my interest going into trying to work out the hidden truths of The World.
To me if I had to pick a champion, a world hero it would be him for going through so much ridicule and sh1t and coming out of the other side intact, when he could have turned his back on his true feelings and kept his job and relatively secure and happy lifestyle.

David named one of his books in 2005 "Infinite love is the only truth, everything else is illusion"
Which is the ultimate truth, infinite love is The One, The singularity, The Totality, The Source, Consciousness, Brahman etc, etc.

Taking this into account-
Excerpt from The Secret of the matrix. 2003

He seems very much on the ball during this talk.

More recently though he seems to be concentrating on all the negative aspects of the manifest world, global fascist state, rfid micro-chipping of people, population control etc, etc.

Would it not be better to focus on connection to oneness, enlightenment because it seems from my current perspective that all the attention he is giving to the negative aspects he is in fact fueling that potential manifest reality and so are the others who are listening to him.
He hits the nail on the head in 2003 and then carries on regardless, still operating at the same level of consciousness as the people he is trying to stop.

I can understand the reaction though, people engrossed in fighting the NWO, like I was once, think that by surrendering to the manifest world and becoming their true nature is what the NWO want because it shows no physical- manifest resistance to them, they see it as passive submission and from their limited perspective is doomed to failure.
Paradoxically though surrendering is the only way to winning, surrender and the perceived enemy will fall away also.
Like David says "They are all illusions".
Our separateness is an illusion, we are all one.

David Icke was right and he has woken up many, me included but a time has to come to drop the negativity, there is enough of that being produced by the media already on behalf of TPTB.

He even says in the video except,
"you can say, hey I love you George Bush, I love you Tony Blair"

Well David my old mate it's time to start spreading some love fella because like you said at Brixton in 2003 "what you resist persists."

Truth

Truth alone is eternal, everything else is momentary. It is more correct to say that Truth is God, than to say that God is Truth. ... All life comes from the one universal source, call it Allah, God or Parmeshwara. (Gandhi 1869-1948)

Religious, But Not Spiritual? (with Father Thomas Keating)

The Catholic theologian Karl Rahner famously said "the Christian of tomorrow will be a mystic, or not a Christian at all." Few people have impacted Christianity in this regard as has Fr. Thomas Keating. A Cistercian monk from St. Benedict's Monastery in Snowmass, Colorado, Fr. Thomas has spent a lifetime in deep Christian practice, and in sharing the fruits of this contemplation with countless others.

The Spirituality of Tomorrow

Summary of the Spiritual Journey

"1.The Realization that there is a higher power,God or Other.

2.To try to become the Other.

3. The realization that there is no Other.

You and the Other are one, always have been, always will be.
You just think that you aren't."

Father Thomas Keating

Our Awakening is the Greatest Contribution To Humanity

I just had to post this audio excerpt from Adyashanti's End of Your World cd, this is why we are waking ourselves up, this is why fighting the New World Order is pointless and doing more damage than good, it's fueling them, giving them energy to get bigger and stronger in the manifest world.

If you really want to do something worthwhile, that's really going to help Humanity/Consciousness then just wake up to your true nature.

The NWO will not be defeated using the same consciousness that created them, if you think by protesting, waking people up to them, even bearing arms against them will change anything apart from making things worse you are deceived.

This is the only way you can have a positive effect on our planet, this is the start of The Golden Age of Mankind, NOW WAKE UP to it.

Understanding Enlightenment

Enlightenment can be called non duality or oneness in fact there are many names for the same state of realization, Hinduism (Advaita Vedanta),Buddhism (Zen),Taoism (Tao), Christianity (photismos, illumination), Sufi and Jewdaism also have non duality at their core, the realization that you are not separate from the rest of creation is shared with all the main religions, when Jesus said the kingdom of God is within you this is what he meant.
In the Shema, the Jewish Pledge of Allegiance: "Hear O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one" (Deut. 6:4).
Sikhism "From the Guru, I have obtained the supremely powerful sword of spiritual wisdom. I have cut down the fortress of duality and doubt, attachment, greed and egotism. The Name of the Lord abides within my mind; I contemplate the Word of the Guru's hymns." (Guru Ram Das, Maru, pg. 1087)

Heck I'm even going to chuck in Freemasonry into the mix, they use allegory and ritual to get to the same ultimate truth.

Behind the external differences of these religions lies the only truth, the only real difference is the path taken to the same realization.

A shift of awareness outside of the ego-centric mind, produces an enlightenment experience.

They are all methods of ego removal, the fact that there is no-self.

In the western world we constantly relate and think we are our ego, whilst in this ego-centric world we are separate from everyone and everything else, scared and alone we fight to have the things we want, we become attached to people and objects in the belief that if we loose these things we have lost part of ourselves.

Enlightenment is a glimpse beyond the ego, the ego suppressed even for a moment will give rise to an enlightenment experience.
Describing the experience cannot be achieved with words, it's like describing a masterpiece painting with one word and then expecting to understand what the painting looks like.

The paradox is we are all enlightened already, it's not that you get anything extra from the experience it's a shift in your perception of what you are already experiencing.
When I had my first experience of enlightenment this I found very amusing, I laughed out loud because I couldn't believe I had missed it my whole life. My ego had been blocking my vision my whole life and when it collapsed I could see clearly.

So if it's there already why can't everyone see it?
Even if you are spiritually minded and strive for enlightenment and visualize yourself saying to your friends "I'm enlightened now" you are seeing enlightenment as making you better than your peers, that is your ego so instead of collapsing your ego you are making it stronger.

I only experienced enlightenment after I gave up trying to experience enlightenment, I didn't care any more in fact I not only gave up searching for enlightenment I gave up on life, giving up on life was the death of my ego which let me see my true nature clearly.

Good luck if you wish to consciously experience your true nature, there are many paths to the same truth of who we are, no right or wrong way, even if you never consciously experience it know that it doesn't matter anyway, it doesn't change anything, you and I are exactly the same.

"On The Way"

Zen Sermon by Ma-tsu (709-788)

The Patriarch said to the assembly, “All of you should believe that your mind is Buddha, that this mind is identical with Buddha. The great master Bodhidharma came from India to China, and transmitted the One Mind teaching of Mahayana so that it can lead you all to awakening. Fearing that you will be too confused and will not believe that this One Mind is inherent in all of you, he used the Lankavatara Sutra to seal the sentient beings’ mind-ground. Therefore, in the Lankavatara Sutra, mind is the essence of all the Buddha’s teachings, no gate is the Dharma-gate.

“Those who seek the Dharma should not seek for anything. Outside of mind there is no other Buddha, outside of Buddha there is no other mind. Not attaching to good and not rejecting evil without reliance on either purity or defilement, one realizes that the nature of offence is empty: it cannot be found in each thought because it is without self-nature. Therefore, the three realms are mind-only and ‘all phenomena in the universe are marked by a single Dharma.’ Whenever we see form, it is just seeing the mind. The mind does not exist by itself; its existence is due to form.

"Whatever you are saying, it is just a phenomenon which is identical with the principle. They are all without obstruction and the fruit of the way to ‘bodhi’ is also like that. Whatever arises in the mind is called form; when one knows all forms to be empty, then birth is identical with no-birth. If one realizes this mind, then one can always wear one’s robes and eat one’s food. Nourishing the womb of sagehood, one spontaneously passes one’s times: what else is there to do? Having received my teaching, listen to my verse:

The mind-ground is always spoken of,

Bodhi is also just peace.

When phenonoma and the principle

Are all without obstruction,

The very birth is identical with no birth.

A monk asked, “What is the cultivation of the Way?”

The Patriarch replied, “The Way does not belong to cultivation. If one speaks of any attainment through cultivation, whatever is accomplished in that way is still subject to regress.”

The monk also asked, “What kind of understanding should one have in order to comprehend the Way?”

The Patriarch replied, “The self-nature is originally complete. If one only does not get hindered by either good or evil things, then that is a person who cultivates the Way. Grasping good and rejecting evil, contemplating sunyata and entering Samadhi-all of these belong to activity. If one seeks outside, one goes away from it. Just put an end to all mental conceptions in the three realms. If there is not a single thought, then one eliminates the root of birth and death and obtains the unexcelled treasury of the Dharma king.

“Since limitless kalpas, all worldly false thinking, such as flattery, dishonesty, self-esteem, and arrogance have formed one body. That is why the sutra says, ‘It is only through the grouping of many dharmas that this body is formed. When it arises, it is only dharmas arising; when it ceases, it is only dharmas ceasing. When the dharmas arise, they do not say I arise; when they cease, they do not say, I cease.’

“The previous thought, the following thought, and the present thought, each thought does not wait for the others; each thought is calm and extinct. This is called Ocean Seal Samadhi. It contains all dharmas. Like hundreds and thousands of different streams-when they return to the great ocean, they are all called water of the ocean. The water of the ocean has one taste which contains all tastes. In the great ocean all streams are mixed together; when one bathes in the ocean, he uses all waters.

“Some are awakened, and yet still ignorant; the ordinary people are ignorant about awakening. Many do not know that originally the Holy Mind is without any position, without cause and effect, without stages, mental conceptions, and false thought. By cultivating causes they attain the fruits and dwell in the Samadhi of emptiness from twenty to eighty thousand kalpas. Though already awakened, their awakening is the same as ignorance. All Bodhisattvas view this as suffering of the hells: falling into emptiness, abiding in extinction, unable to see the Buddha-nature.

“There might be someone of superior capacity who meets a virtuous friend and receives instructions from him. If upon hearing the words he gains understanding, then without passing through the stages, suddenly he is awakened to the original nature.

“It is in contrast to ignorance that one speaks of awakening. Since originally there is no ignorance, awakening also need not be established. All living beings have since limitless kalpas ago been abiding in the Samadhi of the Dharma-nature. While in the Samadhi of the Dharma-nature, they wear their clothes, eat their food, talk and respond to things. Making use of the six senses, all activity is the Dharma-nature. It is because of not knowing how to return to the source, that they follow names and seek forms, from which confusing emotions and falsehood arise, thereby creating various kinds of karma. When within a single thought one reflects and illuminates within, then everything is the Holy Mind.

“All of you should penetrate your own minds; do not record my words. Even if principles as numerous as the sands of the Ganges are spoken of, the mind does not increase. And if nothing is said, the mind does not decrease. When there is speech, it is just your own mind. Even if one could produce various transformation bodies, emit rays of light and manifest the eighteen transmutations, that is still not like becoming like dead ashes.

“If one is to speak about all expedient teachings of the tripitaka that the Tathagata has expounded, even after innumerable kalpas one still will not be able to finish them all. It is like an endless chain. But if one can awaken to the Holy Mind, then there is nothing else to do. You have been standing long enough. Take care!”

Path to Enlightenment

If you seek and strive for enlightenment as a spiritual goal then there is a problem, when you give up looking for it, that is when you discover you were always enlightened, your old self will die (the ego) and you will be reborn into the totality you never left.
This may sound like a riddle but when you experience totality, non dualism, enlightenment, connection to source, whatever label you wish to give it you realise at your core that is what you are, everything, you always have been.
The person you thought you were with the identity, the likes, dislikes, history, lovers, money, friends was not really who you are, it was an ego driven blanket over your true nature.
The society we currently live in fuels this ego blanket, we think we are the body, the house we live in, the car we drive, the money and possessions we have, the high powered job we do. We are none of those things, that is just a partial view of what we are, we are every thing in all of creation, we are the consciousness in all things, unlimited by our very nature, connected to all things (hence synchronicity).
Now is the time we are waking ourselves up to consciously realise we are consciousness unbounded, fear and attachment dissolved we rebuild this Earth into a New Earth full of unconditional love for all things, as once enlightened loving everyone else is like loving yourself, a natural and easy option.

Andrew Cohen: Evolutionary Enlightenment

I am in total agreement with this concept descibed in the video.

"No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it."

Albert Einstein

Go beyond rules, regulations & laws

We are used to a life of compromise. We have become so skilled in accepting anything for convenience.

If the society gives us a label, calls us a saint or a sinner, we accept it. Yet, we are constantly trying to break the mould that society has made for us. How many of us break laws? Even if we break a minor law, like speeding for a short burst, we are thrilled.

Look at our mind. On the one hand, we accept something society gives us because it is easier to accept it than fight it. Very often we seek these labels since they form the identity that we so desperately seek. No price is too high to obtain these labels. On the other hand, we fight what the society gives us! We fight whatever constraints are placed on what we think our freedom should be. We always like to have our cake and eat it!

Be clear! This is because we are having a deeper experience that we are unaware of. Our nature is always struggling to express its true identity. It is guiding us to go beyond rules, regulations and laws.

Understand! Our consciousness is trying to break through our conscience. Your consciousness continuously fights with conscience. Conscience is imposed by our society. Consciousness is natural. Conscience is learned, taught by the society. Consciousness is our true nature. Conscience is acquired, consciousness is natural, our birthright. Conscience is a pure substitute for consciousness.

In all our daily dealings, we accept conscience and ignore consciousness. We ignore it mainly because we are caught in an endless loop. We do not like the rules imposed by the society. It is human nature to reject anything that curtails our freedom. But, we have been so trained that we feel guilt when we break the rules. This action is played and replayed; again and again, without a break.

Master, you ask, how can we break out of it? Cast away this guilt of breaking rules. Then we have another thorny problem. Sin.

You ask, Master, what is sin? How can we get rid of it?

Understand this! There is no sin and neither are you a sinner. The only sinners are those who call you a sinner. There is no need to be redeemed by anyone. You are already divine and pure.

All that you need to be aware is that you are divine. Once you realise this you are liberated. It is that simple.

Accept nothing less than this. Consider no compromise. Ignore all substitutes. The journey brings great rewards. This is a sure path to self-realisation.

Be careful what you think!

I just posted this on The Blob comments for the latest Jake Kotze Red Ice interview, thought it would be of interest to some of you.

When we discover the NWO and the plan for global enslavement we go through a period of denial matched with an insatiable appetite for more and more information to really find the truth of who is controlling the world. We then realize that yes this dark force which operates within the shadows really exists and is hell bent on total global enslavement.
We then look for a way to wake other people up to what is going on in hope that if greater numbers of us unite we can bring the system crashing down and start building a free and righteous world.
We then get ridiculed by our peers and told to STFU you mad man!
So we realize we are never going to wake up enough people to make a significant difference, they are just too programmed to their view of reality.
So go a step deeper, what is reality, if we can understand reality maybe we will find a way of defeating the NWO because we will never defeat them on their terms, within their structure of cut and dried belief systems.
It is not until you understand your true nature that all becomes clear, what you resist will always persist as you are giving them the power over the reality you are currently in, in essence you are creating the NWO.
Taking the power back is what you need to do, do not feel you are an isolated soul fighting an uphill battle against an invisible enemy you can never defeat. Realize you are quite literally all of creation and you have created the NWO in order to wake yourself up. The NWO from this perspective can be viewed as a catalyst in the enlightenment process and the whole process much like a Zen Koan leading to awakening.
I've struggled with this for 20 years or so and it is hard going at times but since my first glimpse of my true nature I've found myself consciously creating my own reality with thought alone.
Coincidence should be taken out of the dictionary because there is no such thing. Synchronicity is in our face shouting at us "we are all connected" trying to wake us up out of our slumber.
If I could give any advice at this point in time it would be, be careful what you think because what you think determines the reality you will receive, thought becomes form and in my case at least, my thoughts are becoming form very quickly, some good, some bad but always initiated by me.

I've had a few lucid dreams and they are a pretty amazing experience. If you have never woken up in your dreams and experienced the ability to do anything in this alternate reality, I really get a kick out of flying, then check out this new website devoted to lucidity during the dream state.
I once also shared a lucid dream with a friend of mine in which they shared the same experience and reported back to me, she was shocked when I stopped her talking and told her what the conclusion of the dream was!

What is consciousness?

Consciousness is the One without the second. It is the source of everything. The ‘who, what, where, when’ are all conceptual images in consciousness. They are all as real as any mirage or dream.

The totality of manifestation, and everything therein, is consciousness , the Unicity. All there is, is consciousness, unaware of itself in its noumenal subjectivity, but perceived by itself as phenomenal manifestation in its objective expression.

If this is understood in depth, there is nothing more to be understood because such understanding must comport the realisation that there is no individual entity as insubstantial shadow, whereas what we really and truly are, is consciousness itself, the formless Brahmn.

All that exists is universal consciousness. The universe as such is not the universal consciousness, but consciousness is the universe just as the bracelet is made of gold but the gold is not made of the bracelet. Whether the manifested universe exists or not, consciousness is there as the subjective Absolute...

The appearance of the universe exists in infinite consciousness, just as the notion of distance or emptiness exists in space... Consciousness creates the illusion of the world appearance and the ego-sense , and perceives the illusion of diversity in what is truly pure Unicity...

How can the universe exist in infinite consciousness that is supposed to be transcendental?

Truly there is nothing other than consciousness, and therefore consciousness cannot but be immanent in everything that appears to exist. And yet no phenomenal manifestation can have any kind of relationship with consciousness because a relationship can exist only between two different entities. It is in this sense that consciousness is transcendental to the manifested universe.

What appears within consciousness as its own reflection — the manifestation of the universe — is not separate or different from consciousness. While the shadow, by itself, has no existence and is therefore unreal, the shadow is not different from the substance when seen together.

When there is no mind in operation, when there is no conceptualising, it is clearly known, felt and experienced, that phenomenality is only the objective expression of the subjective noumenon... God is that formless subjectivity , pure potential, the infinite, universal consciousness, Brahmn, which alone exists even after the cosmic dissolution.

It is only within this pure, infinite consciousness , the potential plenum, that phenomenal manifestation arose as a mere reflection of that potentiality, as a mere objective expression of that pure subjectivity.

The phenomenal objectivisation of this pure subjectivity appears and functions in our outer world of consciousness in the waking state, precisely like sentient and insentient objects seem to exist and function in the inner world of consciousness in the dream state. Nothing really happens.

The final truth is that there is neither creation nor destruction, neither birth nor death, neither destiny nor free will, neither any path nor any achievement... So there is no reason to be aware of anything. So consciousness-at-rest is not aware of itself.

It becomes aware of itself only when this sudden feeling, ‘I Am’ , arises. I Am is the impersonal sense of being aware. And that is when consciousness-at-rest becomes consciousness-in-movement , when potential energy becomes actual energy. They are not two. Nothing separate comes out of the potential energy.

'The pleasure of life grows'

Film-maker David Lynch hasn't missed a day of meditation in 34 years. He explains how one experience changed his quality of life forever.
When I first heard about meditation, I had zero interest in it. I wasn't even curious. It sounded like a waste of time.

What got me interested, though, was the phrase "true happiness lies within". At first, I thought it sounded kind of mean because it doesn't tell you where the "within" is, or how to get there. But, still, it had a ring of truth. And I began to think that maybe meditation was a way to go within.

I looked into meditation, asked some questions, and started contemplating different forms. During my research, my sister called and said she had been doing Transcendental Meditation for six months. There was something in her voice. A change. A quality of happiness. And I thought: "That's what I want."

A different reality

THE POWER OF NOW by Eckhart Tolle

I don’t agree that the body needs to die. I am convinced that we can achieve physical immortality. We believe in death and that’s why the body dies.
The body does not die because you believe in death. The body exists, or seems to, because you believe in death. Body and death are part of the same illusion, created by the egoic mode of consciousness, which has no awareness of the Source of life and sees itself as separate and constantly under threat. So it creates the illusion that you are a body – a dense, physical vehicle that is constantly under threat.

To perceive yourself as a vulnerable body that was born and a little later dies – that’s the illusion. Body and death: one illusion. You cannot have one without the other. You want to keep one side of the illusion and get rid of the other, but that is impossible. Either you keep all of it or you relinquish all of it.

However, you cannot escape from the body, nor do you have to. The body is an incredible misperception of your true nature. But your true nature is concealed somewhere within that illusion, not outside it, so the body is still the only point of access to it.

If you saw an angel but mistook it for a stone statue, all you would have to do is adjust your vision and look more closely at the “stone statue,” not start looking somewhere else. You would then find there never was a stone statue.

If belief in death creates the body, why does an animal have a body? An animal doesn’t have an ego and it doesn’t believe in death. But it still dies, or seems to.

Remember that your perception of the world is a reaction of your state of consciousness. You are not separate from it and there is no objective world out there. Every moment, your consciousness creates the world that you inhabit. One of the greatest insights of modern physics is that of the unity between the observer and the observed: the person conducting the experiment – the observing consciousness – cannot be separated from the observed phenomena and a different way of looking causes the observed phenomena to behave differently.

If you believe, on a deep level, in separation and the struggle for survival, then you see that belief reflected all around you and your perceptions are governed by fear.

Nothing is what it seems to be. The world that you create and see through the egoic mind may seem a very imperfect place, even a vale of tears. But whatever you perceive is only a kind of symbol, like an image in a dream. It is how your consciousness interprets and interacts with the molecular energy dance of the universe. This energy is the raw material of so-called physical reality. You see it in terms of bodies and birth and death, or as a struggle for survival. An infinite number of completely different interpretations, completely different worlds, is possible and, in fact, exists, all depending on the perceiving consciousness.

Every being is a focal point of consciousness and every such focal point creates its own world, although all those worlds are interconnected. There is a human world, an ant world, a dolphin world and so on. There are countless beings whose consciousness frequency is so different from yours that you are probably unaware of their existence, as they are of yours.

Our collective human world is largely created through the level of consciousness we call mind. Even within the collective human world there are vast differences – many different “sub-worlds” – depending on the perceivers or creators of their respective worlds. Since all worlds are interconnected, when collective human consciousness becomes transformed, nature and the animal kingdom will reflect that transformation. Hence the statement in the Bible that, in the coming age, “The lion shall lie down with the lamb.” This points to the possibility of a completely different order of reality.

A New Perspective: Tap into your inner power

Inner power is not an exertion of your physical strength. Your physical strength or force will diminish in time. Inner power is not speaking a truth which harms another person. Inner power is not pushing down feelings and pretending they don’t exist. It is not playing small. It is not your stories. There is no power in fear.

Inner power is our source, our spirit, our connection to higher consciousness. When you find higher consciousness, you find a power which will help you move chaos.
There are many challenges and obstacles in life that ask us to step into our higher consciousness and take a look at who we are. Tapping into your inner power will help you. Knowing what your truth is will help you.

Your inner power is available when you’re in distress and in the good times, too. It is your truth. It is what you know to be true and in that knowledge, all is well. Even if others are trying to damage you or talk about you or make your life miserable, you know your truth and that is your inner power.
